Tunde Bakare started out writing radio drama before moving to the page, and it shows — his novels are built on dialogue and confined spaces, the kind of suspense you could stage as easily as publish.
He lives in Lagos, where most of his books are also set, and maintains that the city has never once needed help inventing tension.
